Es bestimmt in Sekundenschnelle grundlegende thermo-chemische Daten und sagt Brandeigenschaften von Materialien voraus.<\/p>\n<p>Die Technik erm\u00f6glicht die schnelle Bestimmung von Parametern wie spezifische W\u00e4rmefreisetzungsrate (W\/g), Verbrennungsw\u00e4rme (J\/g) und Z\u00fcndtemperatur (\u00b0C) an sehr kleinen (1-5 mg) Proben. Es handelt sich um eine kosteng\u00fcnstige und pr\u00e4zise Technik mit einer typischen Wiederholbarkeit von \u00b1 5 %.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Es hat sich gezeigt, dass Mikrokalorimeterdaten mit Brandversuchsdaten (Kegelkalorimeter, OSU), Entflammbarkeitsergebnissen (LOI, UL94) und Verbrennungsversuchen (Bombenkalorimeter) korrelieren und daher als ein leistungsf\u00e4higes, kosteng\u00fcnstiges Werkzeug zur Bewertung und Vorhersage von Entflammbarkeitseigenschaften angesehen werden.<\/p>\n<p>The FAA <strong>FTT<\/strong> Micro Calorimeter uses the same oxygen consumption calorimetry technique used in <strong>FTT<\/strong>&#8216;s bench and room scale calorimeters. The specimen is first heated at a constant rate of temperature rise (typically 1\u00b0C\/s) in a pyrolyser and the degradation products are purged from the pyrolyser by an inert gas (nitrogen). The gas stream is mixed with oxygen and enters a combustor at 900\u00b0C where the decomposition of products are completely oxidised.
