Due to exceptional growth, FTT now require an Area Sales Manager who will report to the Sales Director and assist in maximising sales and enhancing the FTT brand.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Duties and Responsibilities <\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

  • Maximise sales and help to obtain annual budget for sales.<\/li>
  • Relationship building with all job functions related to our disciplines.<\/li>
  • Help plan regular targeted sales tours, based on marketing intelligence, both alone and\/or in the company of other FTT personnel.<\/li>
  • Actively look for and lead tender business from release to award.<\/li>
  • Identify any relevant trade shows, budget and manage them. This includes booking, identifying equipment, people, marketing and shipment to and from the venue.<\/li>
  • Provide prompt and accurate reports for all sales trips and meetings.<\/li>
  • Provide feedback to the FTT support department on any equipment issues and provide support to the customers in the field where able.<\/li>
  • Provide feedback to the FTT product development department on customer equipment requirements, outside of standard products.<\/li>
  • Liaise with Supply Chain \/ Stores for lead times on products.<\/li>
  • Liaise with FTT Agents and provide agent territory analysis.<\/li>
  • Provide your Line Manager with monthly forecasts to assist in the company’s forward planning.<\/li>
  • Provide content for social media and website communications.<\/li>
  • Screen new customers using visual compliance and log status.<\/li>
  • Analyse customer feedback surveys.<\/li>
  • Populate and help maintain sales data in the company’s CRM.<\/li>
  • Update quotations when new price lists become available.<\/li>
  • Constantly review the market situation with a view to proposing and implementing new strategic initiatives where appropriate.<\/li>
  • Gain a technical understanding of all products and their applications.<\/li>
  • Market research – gain an awareness of our competitors, their products and weakness.<\/li>
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms and other relevant points with both Agents and End-Users.<\/li>
  • Plan for and entertain visitors to the company, including performing product demonstrations on FTT equipment.<\/li>
  • Evaluate orders and verify their accuracy.<\/li>
  • Assist other Sales Colleagues during their holidays and absence so that the sales department is covered at all times.<\/li>
  • Generally assist the Sales Department in their execution of their duties.<\/li>
  • Daily administration as required.<\/li>
  • Any other reasonable tasks requested by your Line Manager.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
