Cone Calorimetry (ISO 5660<\/a>; ASTM E1354<\/a>) is the most significant bench scale instrumentation in the field of fire testing.<\/p>

\u5df2\u751f\u4ea7\u7684 FTT<\/strong><\/span><\/span> i<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/span>Cone \u9525\u5f62\u91cf\u70ed\u4eea\u7b26\u5408\u6240\u6709\u73b0\u6709\u6807\u51c6\uff08\u5305\u62ec ISO 5660, ASTM E1354, ASTM E1474, ASTM E1740, ASTM F1550, ASTM D6113, CAN ULC 135 and BS 476 Part 15)<\/p>

The i<\/strong><\/em>Cone Calorimeter was the first in FTT<\/strong>\u2019s new interactive range of calorimeters, called the i<\/em><\/strong>-series. It features the latest technology in control and automation making it the most advanced, reliable and user\u00ad friendly Cone Calorimeter in the world. The i<\/strong><\/em>Cone was launched in 2013.\u00a0<\/p>

The i<\/strong><\/em>Cone series is now completed by two semi\u00ad-automatic models \u2013 the i<\/strong><\/em>Cone mini \u9525\u5f62\u91cf\u70ed\u4eea<\/span><\/em> which features a separate gas analysis rack and the i<\/strong><\/em>Cone classic \u9525\u5f62\u91cf\u70ed\u4eea<\/span><\/em> which has a fixed gas analysis console mounted on the instrument main frame. These have replaced the FTT<\/strong> Dual Cone and Standard Cone respectively.\u00a0<\/p>

The i<\/strong><\/em>Cone has undergone further modification on its fire model and glass protective screen. This upgrade version is now named as the i<\/strong><\/em>Cone\u00b2\u207a<\/em>\u00a0, also for being the most advanced model in the range. The i<\/strong><\/em>Cone series brings calorimetry to a new level of automation and make it available at different budget levels.<\/p>

All FTT<\/span> calorimeters use a Peltier cooling device and drying agent to ensure that all moisture is removed from the sample gas stream to prevent drift in the Oxygen base-line concentration.\u00a0<\/p>

Tests have shown that just using a Peltier cooling device leads to base line oxygen drift beyond the limits of the standard and resulting in incorrect Heat Release measurement.<\/p>
